Communication formats
Symposiums
Symposiums should

Have a common theme that unites the various papers;

Last a maximum of 60 minutes;

Involve at least 3 different affiliation;

Have between 4 and 5 papers. Proposals with 3 or 4 papers and a discussant will also be considered;

Follow APA guidelines;

Symposium proposals must contain the following information:

The title of the symposium;
-
name and affiliations of the organizers;
-
an abstract of the symposium (max. 300 words);
-
identification of 3 keywords that summarize the symposium;
-
The title of each paper;
- name and affiliations of the authors of each paper;
- individual summary of each paper (max. 300 words);
- identification of 3 keywords.
Oral communications
Oral communications should

Last a maximum of 12 minutes with a period for debate;

Follow APA guidelines;

Have the following dimensions 85cm (W) x 110cm (H) and the authors will be fully responsible for printing them;

Submission structure
Submissions may include studies of various types, including empirical, (qualitative and quantitative), theoretical or intervention studies. You can find examples of abstract structures for each type of study.
Evaluation criteria

The format proposed by the author for the paper will undergo a validation process by the Scientific Committee, after which changes may be suggested if necessary. Each participant is only allowed one intervention in each format, although they may be the author of several papers.

To be considered for the best PhD presentation award, the following criteria must be met:

the main author of the communication must be a PhD student;

the title and abstract must be submitted in English and Portuguese.
